From the helpful parking assistance for our classic car to the charming rustic-style room featuring under-floor heating and views of Portillo Castle, every aspect of our stay was delightful. The welcome drink set the tone for a fantastic evening at El Alboroque restaurant, where we savored typical Castilian cuisine and fine Ribero del Duero wines - a true culinary gem hidden in this quaint village.The housekeeping was impeccable, ensuring our room was spotlessly clean and equipped with modern amenities like a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries. We appreciated the cozy lounge with an open fireplace and the patio with a BBQ, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the nearby medieval castle and old town streets. The easy access to Valladolid, Segovia, and Madrid via the nearby A601 Motorway made it a convenient stop on our journey to the Costa del Sol.The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the exceptional meal at the onsite restaurant, where the carefully crafted dishes and superb service left a lasting impression. The attention to design detail in the accommodation, the beautiful bar set in an ancient church, and the lovely restaurant courtyard with a plane tree pergola all added to the charm of this country hotel.
